No, I’m not writing about our backsides, but the joy in backslides. When life is topsy-turvy, challenges seem too difficult, or emotions keel, it is comforting to know this universal law: the Law of Polarity. For any “bad” experience, there exists inherently in that it experience its opposite. In other words, there is good in the bad, if we look for it. This good may not be immediately apparent. It may take distance and time to discover it, but know that the good exists.
Literature abounds about the Law of Attraction and the importance of positive thoughts. Each thought holds a certain vibration. But sometimes, life happens, and we are not always in the vibration of happiness. Understanding these laws of prosperity is so helpful because when we are in a lower vibration (frustration, anger, despair, etc.) we can use this knowledge to shift to a higher vibration such as hope or gratitude. Hence, the joy of bottoms. Once we recognize a bottom or low-point, we can hold the thought: there must be something good here. Even asking the question: what is the gift in this experience?, can help the shift. Even if you don’t recognize the gift just yet, express gratitude for the gift and know that it will come.

Thank you for sharing this. It is so relevant. It completely resonated with me….that “feeling” of unrest & unease. I experience that when I am overcome by the chaos & clutter that breeds in my office!
thank you for you, your amazing light, and all the beauty you bring to this world, and my life. Love You…. ~R
